Protest Songs
I put together a CD of protest songs last year. Here is the introduction to the project and a track listing:
This CD is my protest against the war in Iraq and everything that it stands for. There is no pattern to the songs here. Some are very old, some are very new. Most deal with war, but others are simple protests against poverty, foreign occupation, or the wealthy. I’ve included some notes on songs you may not know, or may not understand.
Please share this CD with anyone who might appreciate it. Protest in whatever way you can.

“C–ts are Still Running the World” by Jarvis Cocker
For total anti-war, I’ve heard it too many times but I still like “The General” by Dispatch.
