gas prices
it is time to make our voices heard. let gov. spitzer hear us, we are sick and tired of these high gasoline prices in new york. as gas is now at #3.00 a gallon in new york the time to act is now. even if you have already written a previous e-mail, do it again. gov. spitzer so far has given every indication that he will not only listen but act on our major issues in this state. let us give him a chance to get the gasoline taxes lowered in this state. that would be a start to fixing or making this problem manageable. if we don’t act now it will only get worse. don’t wait for someone else to send the message . if you have time to get on this site, you have time to write the governor and tell him we need something done about the high gas prices in this state.
lets give him a chance to show us he really is working for the people of new york. my e-mail is on the way right now.
bush controls the senate and the house:
well it has happened again, both the democratic senate and house have knuckled under to this imbicle of a president. more money has been funded for the war in iraque, with no clear cut verbage for troop withdrawal. more young americans will sacrifice their lives for no good reason.
where are you jack, and bobby, martin, and eugene, george and senator byrd, julian bond speak now. we have no outstanding leaders. where are the college professors who can get young people to think and act. are they just concerned with 1+1, and discovering some new technology to make our cell phones even more ridiculous. we as americans have lost our passion and focus on things that are important or should be important to each and everyone of us.
our young people need to learn how to organize, how to protest, and ultimately how to succeed.
we as parents need to show them how to do this. our educators need to plant the seeds in there classes. protest is the only way we will end this mess in iraque during this administration. it has to be hige and organized like in the sixties when a president was forced to not seek reelection.
where are the berrigan brothers and all those protest songs. i would hate to think that those kinds of ideas in an era that embraced change are gone forever.
greg,
