Utica Progressive

Welcome to Utica Progressive. My goal is to examine current issues through a local progressive lens. I want to look through the news and see what is really going on. What currents are affecting political, economic, and social issues in our society? In who’s best interests is the government acting? What can we learn from looking back through history about the problems we currently face?

My lens, my bias, is that of the little guy; the individual, the minority. I see enough people broadcasting, analyzing, and accepting the way things are from the perspective of the government, business, wealth, and power. I am seeking a “people’s view;” a view of how big events affect most of us.
